Baking biscuits in an electric skillet

As promised in an earlier post, here is the attempt at baking biscuits in the electric skillet. Introducing the biscuits:

As usual, I put the rack in the bottom and used a piece of parchment paper. The temperature was set at 375 degrees per the package instructions.

At 38 minutes they looked beautiful. Although it did take 38 minutes. According to the package instructions it should have taken 18-24 minutes. I have to say it does take quite a bit longer to bake things in the electric skillet (see the previous cookie post) but it does get the job done. The other advantage to using the electric skillet is that you can do larger amounts at one time. The omelet maker is much faster but can only do two at a time. However, I now have two choices for baking biscuits. Let's see what we can bake next time. Have a great day!
As a side note I feel like I must say that in the first post I used Pillsbury biscuits and in this post I used Great Value brand as those were what was available at the store that day. My personal opinion is that the Pillsbury biscuits baked up fluffier and lighter than the Great Value ones although I am not sure if this was the baking method or not. They were both worth eating.
